About Us:We are a US-based asset-based carrier specializing in refrigerated freight across the country. With a growing fleet and a strong commitment to compliance and driver safety, we are expanding our operations and looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Fleet Safety Manager based in India to support our safety and compliance efforts remotely.

⸻Job Summary:As the Fleet Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of safety compliance, focusing on Hours of Service (HOS), FMCSA/DOT regulations, driver logs, and safety audits. You'll work closely with drivers, dispatchers, and the operations team to maintain the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. ⸻Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and audit driver HOS logs using ELD platforms (e.g., Samsara, KeepTruckin, etc.)
  • Identify and resolve HOS violations and train drivers accordingly
  • Stay current with FMCSA and DOT regulations and ensure company policies reflect updates
  • Conduct regular safety reviews and internal audits
  • Investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, and implement corrective actions
  • Support driver onboarding by verifying qualifications and training completion
  • Manage safety documentation, accident reports, and compliance files
  • Communicate daily with the US team to ensure real-time compliance tracking⸻Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in US DOT compliance, safety, or fleet management
  • Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS rules
  • Experience with ELD software platforms (Samsara, Motive, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and during US business hours
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace⸻Preferred:

  • Familiarity with DOT audits and CSA scores
