Job Description – Human Resources (HR – Compliance &Operations)Role: Assistant Manager/ Manager/ Executives/ Sr. ExecutivesCompany: BuildconLocation: KeralaDepartment: Human ResourcesReports To: HR Head / Senior Manager – HRRole OverviewWe are looking for a compliance -driven and proactive HRprofessional to manage the end -to -end HR operations and labour law compliance at Buildcon. This role is crucial inensuring statutory adherence across a large workforce, whilealso strengthening employeerelations, performance management, and HR analytics tosupport business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Statutory Management - Ensure full compliance with labour laws, Factory Act,CLRA, and statutory regulations (PF,ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Employee Compensation,etc.) - Handle labour law audits, inspections, and statutoryfilings with government authorities - Maintain statutory registers, employee records, andcompliance documentation - Monitor and enforce contract labour compliance across allvendors and contractors - Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigaterisks and ensure smoothstatutory operationsEmployee Life Cycle Management - Oversee the complete employee life cycle including onboarding, induction, transfers, andseparations - Manage exit formalities and ensure compliance duringemployee separationsHR Operations - Supervise attendance, leave, and payroll inputs - Administer insurance policies (Mediclaim, GPA, etc.) - Provide accurate HR records for compliance and internalreporting PerformanceManagement System (PMS) - Implement and monitor PMS cycles across business units - Coordinate performance reviews and appraisal processesEmployee Relations& Welfare - Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances,ensuring resolution aligned withstatutory requirements - Drive employee welfare initiatives and promote a safe,compliant, and supportive workculture - Support engagement programs to boost employee satisfactionand retentionHR Analytics & Reporting - Develop and manage HR dashboards with a focus oncompliance metrics, attrition, andworkforce utilization - Track machine -to -manpower tagging ratio to optimizeproductivity - Deliver data -driven insights for leadershipdecision -makingQualifications &Skills - MBA/PGDM in Human Resources / Labour Welfare or equivalent - 5–10 years of experience in HR operations and labour lawcompliance (infrastructure,construction, or manufacturing industry experiencepreferred) - Strong knowledge of labour legislations, CLRA, FactoriesAct, and Industrial Relations Act - Proven ability to handle audits, inspections, andcompliance disputes - Proficiency in HRMS/HR software and MS Office - Excellent communication, problem -solving, and stakeholdermanagement skillsKey Competencies - Compliance -focused with strong ethical values - Ability to manage large -scale workforce environments withsignificant contract labourengagement - Detail -oriented and analytical mindset for accuratecompliance and reporting - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills - Ability to work under pressure in a fast -pacedinfrastructure industry
