Job Title: Senior Accounts Manager

Location:Wagale Estate, Thane

Department: Accounts & Finance

Reports To: CFO / Director

Job Purpose:

The Senior Accounts Manager will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, manage financial reporting, and provide strategic insights to support business growth. The role requires strong leadership in managing a team, handling audits, optimizing processes, and ensuring financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

  3. Oversee accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  4. Monitor revenue recognition, expense tracking, and cost optimization.

  5. Compliance & Audit

  6. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.

  7. Liaise with auditors (internal & statutory) and ensure smooth completion of audits.
  8. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  9. Budgeting & Forecasting

  10. Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

  11. Support management with financial planning and decision-making.
  12. Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund management.

  13. Team Leadership & Process Improvement

  14. Lead and mentor the accounts team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.

  15. Implement and strengthen internal controls, policies, and accounting systems.
  16. Drive automation and ERP utilization for effective accounting processes.

  17. Business Support & Strategy

  18. Provide financial insights to management for business expansion and investments.

  19. Support in vendor negotiations, cost-saving initiatives, and contract reviews.
  20. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR, Procurement).

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial management.
  • Proficiency in Tally
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ethical financial practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA in Finance (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting & finance with experience in the IT industry preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹60,000.00 per month
