Job Overview

Princo Solutions is seeking a mid-level PDF Accessibility specialist based in Hyderabad. This position is full-time and crucial for ensuring documents meet accessibility standards. The role involves using skills in PDF Remediation, Adobe Acrobat, and Document Tagging, among others, to optimize document accessibility and complies with WCAG standards. Candidates will be responsible for document accessibility auditing and screen reader testing, playing a vital role in enhancing our IT services.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in PDF Remediation to ensure documents are accessible and usable for all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Acrobat for creating, managing, and optimizing PDFs while maintaining accessibility standards.
  • In-depth understanding of document tagging to structure content logically and make it navigable for assistive technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG to ensure compliance and enhance document usability.
  • Experience in screen reader testing to verify the effectiveness of document accessibility features.
  • Ability to perform PDF optimization to improve file efficiency and accessibility features without compromising quality.
  • Skilled in document accessibility auditing to assess and verify compliance with set accessibility standards.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify accessibility issues and deliver solutions that advance document accessibility.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough PDF Remediation processes to ensure documents are compliant with accessibility standards.
  • Utilize Adobe Acrobat tools for effective document management and enhancement of accessibility functions.
  • Apply document tagging techniques to create structured and easily navigable documents for all users.
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG standards across all PDF documents to meet legal and organizational requirements.
  • Perform screen reader testing to ensure documents are accessible and functional for assistive technology users.
  • Optimize PDFs to improve access speed and functionality using best practices in document optimization.
  • Conduct regular accessibility audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with standards.
