Location: Vijayanagar, Mysore
Company: GCQ Study Abroad
Experience: Minimum 2+ years in EdTech or Overseas Education Sales
Compensation: ₹3,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum (based on experience and performance)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Role Summary
We're looking for a Business Development Executive (Inside Sales – Education & Overseas Admissions) who will play a pivotal role in driving admissions growth and delivering a world-class counseling experience.
This isn't a routine calling job it's a consultative, relationship-driven sales role that blends empathy, strategy, and execution.
You'll own the entire student journey from the first call to enrollment ensuring every student feels supported, informed, and confident about their future.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Conversion
- Handle inbound leads from marketing campaigns, referrals, and partner channels.
- Engage students and parents via calls, WhatsApp, video sessions, and emails.
- Understand students' goals, backgrounds, and motivations.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities, and courses aligned with their aspirations.
- Convert high-potential leads through consultative selling and trust-based engagement.
- Maintain accurate lead records and conversion updates in the CRM system.
Admission Strategy & Execution
- Build personalized admission plans from profile evaluation to offer letter.
- Coordinate with internal teams for application, documentation, and visa processes.
- Ensure timely updates and consistent communication with students and parents.
- Meet or exceed monthly conversion and revenue targets.
Market & Product Intelligence
- Stay updated on global education trends, scholarships, rankings, and visa regulations.
- Share insights with management to enhance sales strategies and campaigns.
- Understand GCQ's full portfolio to upsell and cross-sell relevant programs.
Relationship Building & Retention
- Build long-term trust with students and parents through genuine follow-ups.
- Nurture alumni connections and encourage referrals and success stories.
- Represent GCQ with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in inside sales, counseling, or student admissions (EdTech or Overseas Education).
- Strong understanding of study abroad destinations – USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with CRM systems, Excel, and digital tools.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and organized.
- Comfortable managing 50–60 meaningful interactions per day.
Performance Indicators
- Admission and revenue targets achieved.
- Lead-to-conversion ratio and CRM accuracy.
- Student satisfaction and referral generation.
- Responsiveness and turnaround time.
