
International Ticketing Manager

Role & responsibilities
- Booking and Ticketing: Process international flight bookings, issue tickets, and ensure accurate pricing and fare calculations using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Customer Service: Assist clients with travel inquiries, provide detailed information on flight options, visa requirements, and travel restrictions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Itinerary Management: Handle itinerary changes, cancellations, refunds, and rebooking requests in compliance with airline policies and fare rules.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all bookings adhere to international travel regulations, including IATA guidelines, and verify necessary travel documents such as passports and visas.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints, booking errors, or travel disruptions promptly and professionally.
- Coordination: Collaborate with airlines, travel agencies, and other stakeholders to secure the best travel options and resolve issues.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions, and generate reports as required.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on airline policies, fare structures, travel restrictions, and global travel trends to provide informed recommendations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in travel agency operations, airline ticketing, or a similar role.
Skills:
Proficiency in GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo).
- Strong knowledge of international travel regulations, fare rules, and airline policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and documentation.
