Job description for Team Leader-Exp 2-3 Years – SynAgro Naturals-LLP Based at Pune

Company Overview:

SynAgro-LLP is a premier producer of high-quality mushrooms, dedicated to sustainability and innovation in the agriculture industry. We are looking for a proactive and organized Administrative and Production Support Specialist to assist our production team and ensure smooth operations in our mushroom plant.

Job Summary: The Administrative and Production Support Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative support to the production team, managing documentation, coordinating activities, and ensuring efficient communication between departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  1. Office Management:

  2. Manage day-to-day administrative functions in the production office.

  3. Maintain office supplies and ensure that the production team has the necessary resources.

  4. Documentation and Reporting:

  5. Prepare and maintain production reports, logs, and records.

  6. Assist in the documentation of production processes, quality control measures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  7. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.

  8. Communication:

  9. Serve as a point of contact between the production team and other departments, such as HR, finance, and procurement.

  10. Facilitate effective communication and information flow within the production team.
  11. Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.

Production Support:

  1. Coordination:

  2. Assist in the scheduling and coordination of production activities to ensure smooth workflow.

  3. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
  4. Monitor production schedules and report any discrepancies or delays to the Production Manager.

  5. Inventory Management:

  6. Maintain inventory records of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.

  7. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in inventory audits.
  8. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials in compliance with safety standards.

  9. Health and Safety:

  10. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of health and safety protocols.

  11. Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to by all team members.
  12. Coordinate safety training sessions and maintain records of safety compliance.

  13. Quality Control:

  14. Support the quality control team in monitoring and documenting quality standards.

  15. Assist in conducting quality checks and audits to ensure product quality.
  16. Report any quality issues or deviations to the Quality Control Manager.

Support Functions:

  1. Training and Onboarding:

  2. Assist in the onboarding and training of new production staff.

  3. Provide administrative support for training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and record-keeping.

  4. Data Management:

  5. Enter and maintain data related to production activities, inventory, and quality control in relevant systems.

  6. Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making processes.

  7. Continuous Improvement:

  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.

  9. Provide suggestions for process improvements and support their implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, Agriculture, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a production or agricultural setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.
