Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will handle sales operations within an assigned territory, develop and execute sales strategies, and grow market share. Key responsibilities include managing distributor relationships, achieving sales targets, analyzing market trends, and identifying new growth opportunities. Additionally, the role involves mentoring sales teams, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring effective execution of promotional strategies and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in sales management, business development, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, manage market intelligence, and devise strategic growth plans.
  • Proficiency in team leadership, mentoring, and training to drive performance and success.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in managing distributors and retailers effectively.
  • Understanding of the footwear or retail industry is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
