We're looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team.
Job Overview
As our BDE, you'll be the key to our growth. You will drive revenue by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with hospitals and healthcare providers. Your role is to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and act as a trusted advisor, helping clients understand how our solutions can solve their biggest challenges.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identify and research new business opportunities.
You'll be responsible for building a robust pipeline by targeting hospitals, clinics, and other
healthcare organizations. This involves using various tools and platforms to find potential clients who can benefit from our solutions.
Outreach and Engagement: Initiate contact with key decision-makers through a variety of
channels, including cold calls, email campaigns, and professional networking. Your goal is to introduce our company and set up initial meetings or product demonstrations.
Consultative Selling and Product Demonstration: Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand the specific needs and pain points of potential clients. You'll then present our software and CRM
solutions, demonstrating how they can solve their challenges, improve patient care, and streamline operations.
Sales Cycle Management: Take ownership of the entire sales process, from the first contact to a successful close. This includes creating compelling proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about the latest trends in the healthcare IT sector, competitor activities, and market shifts. You'll use this knowledge to refine your sales strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
CRM and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions within our CRM system. You'll also provide regular reports on your progress and contribute to team sales forecasts.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a business development, sales, or account management role. Prior experience selling software solutions or working within the
healthcare technology sector is a significant advantage.
Skills:
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
Negotiation: Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Interpersonal: Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster trust and rapport
with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
Technical: A solid understanding of software and CRM systems. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle is a plus.
Knowledge: A deep understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management.
Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including its operational workflows and regulatory landscape (e.g., HIPAA), is highly desirable.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
