- Position Summary We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our wholesale liquor sales operations in JSK Enterprises. The role involves managing a team of approximately 30-50 Sales Executives, driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, ensuring compliance, and expanding our distribution footprint. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills, deep sales experience, and proven success in meeting aggressive sales targets.
- Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 20 Sales Executives across assigned territories.
• Set individual and team targets, provide coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews.
• Foster a results-driven culture while maintaining high levels of morale and accountability. Sales & Business Growth
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve weekly & monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Drive expansion into new markets and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Track performance of sales executives, ensuring adherence to KPIs and sales plans. Customer & Channel Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, like wineshop, permit room and key accounts.
• Negotiate schemes and credit terms with customers while ensuring profitability.
• Ensure high service standards and timely resolution of customer queries or issues. Operational & Compliance Oversight
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless order dispatch on time.
• Monitor stock levels on demand forecasts, and promotional activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to liquor licensing laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Reporting & Analysis
• Regularly review sales reports, pipelines, and forecasts for accuracy and insights.
• Provide senior management with updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Leverage data analytics to optimize sales strategies and improve team performance. - Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in liquor, beverages, or FMCG.
• Strong track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience leading a medium-to-large team (1525 members).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of liquor wholesale distribution and state-specific regulatory norms.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively as required.
