Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled US Accountant to join our Accounting Process Outsourcing team. This role involves direct interaction with US-based clients, managing their books, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end US accounting processes including bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and reporting.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and client-specific policies.
  • Act as a Transaction Coordinator, ensuring smooth handling of financial data, invoices, and client transactions.
  • Communicate directly with US clients to understand requirements, clarify financial data, and provide updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in US Accounting / Outsourced Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, bookkeeping, and transaction coordination.
  • Proficiency with US GAAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (client-facing role).
  • Ability to work independently during US business hours (Night Shift IST).
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
