Role Summary
We're looking for an experienced
Senior US Accounting Specialist
to manage end-to-end U.S. accounting operations. This role is critical in supporting our U.S. finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process
weekly timesheets & client invoices - Ensure accurate and timely submission of
payroll/accounting data - Prepare regular & ad-hoc reports in
QuickBooks - Manage and reconcile
AP/AR
accounts - Assist with
GL entries, reconciliations, and month-end close - Support financial statement prep in line with
U.S. GAAP - Track/manage
PO expirations
& related documentation - Maintain
master data
for employees, customers, and vendors - Liaise with
state agencies
for payroll, unemployment, and tax matters
Requirements
5+ years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience (staffing/consulting preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
Experience in
payroll, AP/AR, and expense management
QuickBooks proficiency
(mandatory)
Advanced
Excel skills
(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)
Excellent communication & attention to detail
