About Oohpoint

Oohpoint is building the future of targeted, measurable offline advertising.

We're a self-serve AdTech platform where brands and agencies can plan, launch, and optimise offline campaigns with the precision of digital ads. We bridge offline engagement (QR scans, vendor networks, location-based targeting) with AI-driven insights and automation.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on CTO & Co-Founder someone who can code, architect, and lead the evolution of Oohpoint's platform from current MVP to a fully automated AI-first ecosystem.

This is not a "just manage" role - you'll be in the trenches building, iterating, and scaling alongside the founder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Architecture & Development
  • Lead full-stack development using , , MongoDB/PostgreSQL.
  • Design scalable microservices & APIs for multi-stakeholder platform (brands, vendors, users).
  • Architect real-time analytics pipelines for campaign tracking, engagement scoring, and vendor performance (SQS).

AI & Automation

  • Develop ML models for location/vendor scoring, campaign optimisation, and predictive targeting.
  • Integrate AI agents for automated campaign creation, monitoring, and optimisation.
  • Explore GAN-based creative generation for ads.

Infrastructure & Security

  • Deploy and manage AWS/GCP infra with cost-optimised scaling.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines, latency monitoring, and load testing.
  • Implement robust security measures for PII, vendor pricing, and brand data.

Vision & Strategy

  • Co-lead product roadmap with founder.
  • Work on patentable features (SQS, gamified engagement tracking).
  • Represent tech vision to investors and partners.

Must-Have Skills

  • Full-stack engineering mastery — , , MongoDB/PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP.
  • AI/ML exposure — recommendation systems, predictive analytics, creative generation.
  • Data engineering skills — Kafka, Pub/Sub, BigQuery/Snowflake.
  • Startup mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, builds fast with quality.
  • Leadership & collaboration — can build and lead a small, high-impact tech team.
  • Business acumen — understands monetisation, scalability, and unit economics.

Preferred Background

  • Ex-founder or tech leader in a startup.
  • 2+ years actively building in the startup ecosystem.
  • Experience in AdTech / MarTech / OOH / DOOH platforms.
  • Strong network in tech & startup circles.
  • Based in Mumbai (or willing to relocate for full-time in-person work).
