Job Summary:
The role of the Analyst is to support the team ,as we design, implement, direct, and enable omni-channel selling of install services, configurable selling and production management for the Services organization.This position collaborates with support and operation teams, field leadership, IT, and CX teams for the execution, priority and delivery of initiatives. It is responsible for oversight of testing and accuracy of product and pricing information in the Selling Configurable Systems. This is accomplished by working with the configurable selling team, Merchants, Product Vendors, Software Providers and IT as necessary. The position ensures that the product category's internal and vendor driven catalog changes are tested and analyzed for accuracy while providing the best customer experience possible for the selling system. They are also responsible for identifying opportunities within existing selling processes and catalogs where the user experience can be improved.
The primary responsibility of the analyst role is to coordinate, design, and deliver solutions for the Specialty team using advanced knowledge of existing service systems and processes. An individual in this position will have to identify opportunities in visualizers, quoting tools, selling systems, and installation/project management tools which will function across all areas of the Specialty organization and other impacted business areas.
Additionally the analyst role will have to clearly communicate and gain consensus around these opportunities by providing the business impact of the necessary changes. They will be accountable for day to day support activities, requirement definition, communicating updates and completing assigned tasks for Services projects for any area of the Service organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- To be successful, the individual must have a strong understanding of analytical techniques and disparate data sources - both internal and external.
- Present technical information effectively and adjust the presentation to fit the needs of the audience, develop high clarity and understanding to ensure the message is thoroughly communicated.
- Manage catalog management process for (2) main configurable selling tools. This includes an ~8 step process, and supports ~2 billion dollars of sales annually through tools.
- Develops reporting metrics and presents data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive configurable product sales.
- Provides qualitative and quantitative analytics prior to development and after implementation identifying ROI, current/future state, and cost savings for Services initiatives.
- Coordinates and manages timely execution of projects across the network, from receipt of catalog to production deployment.
- Interprets reporting and develops actionable performance recommendations that are distributed to key stakeholders.
- Executes the process of documenting policies, procedures, and processes for new store initiatives.
- Executes project plans for the launch of new programs, features and strategies
- Leverage problem solving skills to determine and correct root cause, have a complete understanding of programs, educate others and buildout capabilities to improve performance
- Implement business plan for area of responsibility
- A strong team member that possesses effective project planning skills, communication skills, can collaborate with others, can organize and monitor work and can build while motivating a team
- Must have the ability to create and manage workflow processes, develop business requirements, create use cases, project charters, and be able to manage a project and effectively communicate technical updates to all audiences.
Years of Experience:
Overall 3+ years of Experience
- 3 years of experience in configurable product sales for big box retailer
- 2+ years' experience reporting and data analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Primary Skills (must have)
- Experience in Data mining and visualization tool such as Excel
- Experience in Retail Industry
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills, including ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management
- Able to actively participate in team meetings to including brainstorming sessions, work sessions, design sessions, etc.
- Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets for use in analytical tools
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Experience with 2020/ Cyncly and Paradigm software tools.
- Experience with PowerBI.
