Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a GIS Analyst. The GIS Analyst will be responsible for working with geographic data, performing GIS analysis, and managing related datasets. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing GIS applications to address spatial problems, analyzing geospatial information, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. The role also involves maintaining and updating GIS databases to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and GIS Applications
  • Strong Analytical and GIS Analysis skills
  • Experience in Data Management and working with geospatial datasets
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, or related field
  • Prior experience in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools is preferred
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for GIS processes is an advantage
