Position Overview
The
Head of Facilities Management
will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all facility operations across multiple office locations in India. This role ensures that all workplaces operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, while aligning with the company's business, sustainability, and employee experience goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Management
- Lead the
end-to-end facilities operations
across all company offices (leased and owned) PAN India. - Develop and implement
facility management strategies
, policies, and SOPs for maintenance, security, housekeeping, transport, cafeteria, and safety. - Ensure optimal
space utilization
, preventive maintenance, and workplace efficiency. - Manage
annual facility budgets
, vendor contracts, and cost optimization initiatives.
Workplace Experience
- Create a
safe, comfortable, and engaging environment
for all employees. - Drive
sustainability and wellness programs
across offices (energy conservation, waste management, green initiatives). - Partner with HR and Admin to enhance
workplace culture and employee satisfaction
through infrastructure improvements and smart space design.
Vendor & Compliance Oversight
- Manage multiple
vendors and service providers
(housekeeping, security, technical maintenance, AMC, etc.). - Ensure all facilities are compliant with
statutory and regulatory requirements
(Fire, EHS, Labor, Building Codes, etc.). - Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of outsourced services.
Project & Expansion Support
- Support new
office setup, relocation, or renovation projects
across regions. - Coordinate with real estate, design, and procurement teams during expansion phases.
- Oversee
CapEx and OpEx planning
for all infrastructure initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience managing
multi-location facilities operations
. - Strong leadership and vendor management abilities.
- Excellent understanding of
building management systems (BMS), HVAC, electrical, and fire safety systems
. - Budgeting, negotiation, and project management expertise.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Awareness of
sustainability and ESG practices
in facilities.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in
Engineering / Facilities / Real Estate / Business Administration
. - 10–20 years
of experience in facilities management, with at least
5 years in a leadership role
. - Experience in managing
corporate or tech park offices PAN India
preferred. - Certifications such as
IFMA, RICS, PMP, or Six Sigma
will be an added advantage.
