Role Overview

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join our team in Chennai. You'll be the first point of contact for aspiring authors — understanding their needs, guiding them through our publishing process, and helping them choose the right plan to publish their book.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves communication, storytelling, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to and connect with aspiring authors through leads and outreach.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to explain Inkscribe's publishing services.
  • Understand client goals and suggest suitable publishing plans.
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with potential authors to ensure conversions.
  • Manage and update lead pipelines using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client servicing (experience in publishing, marketing, or creative industries is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for books, writing, and the creative industry.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
