Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  2. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing.

  3. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; maintain vendor relationships.
  4. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply terms.

  5. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.

  6. Material Planning & Inventory Control

  7. Plan and forecast material requirements based on production schedules.

  8. Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations.
  9. Conduct regular inventory reviews, cycle counts, and reconciliation.

  10. Coordinate with production, sales, and finance for accurate forecasts.

  11. Logistics & Distribution

  12. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations.

  13. Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished goods.
  14. Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for efficient movement.

  15. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

  16. Warehousing Management

  17. Monitor warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch.

  18. Implement best practices for space utilization, safety, and housekeeping (5S).

  19. Drive automation and digitalization for improved warehouse efficiency

  20. Cost Optimization & Process Improvement

  21. Identify opportunities to reduce cost across procurement, logistics, and inventory.

  22. Implement lean practices to minimize waste and improve productivity.

  23. Lead supply chain improvement initiatives and implement SOPs.

  24. Data Analysis & Reporting

  25. Maintain supply chain dashboards and KPIs (OTIF, lead time, inventory turns, etc.).

  26. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps.

  27. Present monthly supply chain reviews to management.

  28. Cross-Functional Coordination

  29. Collaborate with production, QA, sales, finance, and operations teams.

  30. Ensure seamless flow of materials and information across departments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain (preferred).
  • 5–12 years of experience in supply chain operations (manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, planning, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
