Job description

  • Responsible for over all machining activities involved in the new product development.
  • Responsible for completion of project sample on agreed dates.
  • Responsible for monitoring activity of new product development during first shipment until the product is handed over to production.
  • Responsible for RFQs-Feasibility study with respect to machining.
  • Responsible for departmental objectives.
  • Responsible for designing, developing and Modification of existing tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Responsible for inspection of tooling, machined components, and pressure testing during new product development.
  • Responsible for verification of sample inspection report with respect to NPD parts.
  • Responsible for providing technical assistance to other departments during development stage.
  • Responsible for identifying, initiating, monitoring and implementing the improvement projects in method, cost reduction and simplification in process and rejection controls.
  • Fully knowledge about the casting & machining process.
  • Fully knowledge about CNC machining technology, Tooling, Design, Equipment, cycle time estimates.

Note:-

Background should be Foundry & Machining process.

Preferably in the Valves & Pump industry.
