Join Barclays as an Agile Lead where you'll play a pivotal role in driving Agile adoption and continuous improvement across team and consumer risk, by guiding teams, Scrum Master, Product Owners, and leadership in Agile principles and practices. You will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, workshops, and training sessions to build Agile capabilities and assess Agile maturity to develop tailored coaching plans for teams and individuals. Your role will also be responsible for explaining agile principles and mindset to teams by running brown bag sessions, training sessions, sharing useful links for self-learning, calling out anti patterns and promoting healthy agile practices within the delivery teams.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience of working in an Agile transformation environment.

  • An understanding of Java, BDD testing concepts and Public Cloud (AWS).

Some other highly desirable skills include:

  • An understanding in authorisation and authentication technologies such as Policy as Code, IAM (Identity Access Management), IAM solutions (PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, PingDS).

  • Experience relationship building skills, patience, and resilience to change current thinking and working practices.

  • Ability to translating technical concepts and solutions to both non-technical and technical teams without losing the detail.

  • Accredited Agile practitioner.

This role will be based out of our Pune office.

Purpose of the role

To develop scrum principles and sprint goals aligned to industry best practices, and the banks objectives, to foster a high-performing technology team and support the successful progression on scrum projects.

Accountabilities

  • Management and fostering of a high performing engineering team, by providing high quality technical guidance and support to resolve complex challenges aligned to the banks technology practices, industry best practice and the banks business objectives.
  • Identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance the technology development process in an efficient and effect manner.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and innovations, actively contributing to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence and growth.
  • Collaboration with business stakeholders, developers and other technology teams to ensure technology initiatives align with business objectives, security policies and regulatory requirements.
