Our team manages product strategy and closely collaborates with the Engineering, focuses on supporting Sales with product proposals and technical expertise. Our mission is to create most competitive product proposition and provide products that suit customers applications.

As Junior Proposal Engineer
,
based in Chennai, you will play a vital and essential role serving FLS key products. You will ensure product specification and documentation are well-arranged, lead proposal configuration by collaborating with stakeholders, setting standards, and tracking progress.

Your Responsibilities

• Gathers input to customer technical specifications and estimates the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the product or solution
• Supports with administration of deliveries
• Coordinates review and edit of proposal input from a variety of disciplines, typically involving contributions from design engineering E&I engineering, manufacturing, commercial stakeholders
• Helps to deliver cost estimates of products
• Helps to produce standard documentation typically to be delivered during opportunity process
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activities

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of equipment, machinery used in mining processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
• Attention to detail in ensuring specification accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities proactively.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM and ERP), affinity for Office365, other software e.g. AutoCad, AI, would be an advantage.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in English, as you will be joining an international team working across borders
