Job Title: Account Officer

Employment Type

: Full-Time

Experience Required:

5+ years of industry experience

Educational Qualifications:

Semi-Qualified CA/CMA preferred; M. Com or MBA with 5-6 years of experience also considered

Budget : up to 6.00 LPA

Responsibilities-

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports promptly.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Submit monthly Management Information System (MIS) to Manager – Finance.
  • Prepare and raise sales invoices.
  • Account for Sales, Debtors, debit notes, and credit notes.
  • Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS and Income Tax Compliance Services.
  • Practical knowledge of vendors bill booking in Tally ensuring all statutory compliances of vendors bill. Vendor Payments, etc.
  • Practical knowledge of vendors reconciliation, 26AS Reconciliation, customer reconciliation, Debit & Credit Notes.
  • Accounts receivables etc.
  • Practical knowledge of TDS/TCS working, GST working & reconciliations & all statutory compliances thereof.
  • Knowledge of Sales Billing to customers,
  • Knowledge of statutory & Tax audits

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software- Tally Prime.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
