Roles and Responsibilities :
1.Plan, organize and direct all the activities of the cost accounting function.
Analyse cost structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and profitability reports.
Effectively managed month-end closing processes to ensure precise and timely financial reporting.
Product Costing through SAP CO- Module, Release of Standard Prices and Target Costing.
Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from management of current rates to monthly close and analysis.
Develop new, robust processes to drive productivity in the cost accounting function.
Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis.
Assist with the coordination and deliverables for quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by internal and external auditors.
Prepare ad hoc reporting and analyses and assist team with research on cost accounting questions and assist with special projects as requested.
Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management.
Streamline cost accounting procedures and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Cost Audit - Prepare efficient and effective internal control systems and procedures, including an effective MIS system to monitor daily performance achievement.
Analyze production costs/process and recommend cost-cutting measures.
Provide actionable financial insights to leadership teams to support decision-making.
Collaborate with operations, procurement, and other departments to align cost strategies.
Developed strong relationships with various stakeholders and led a team of professionals, encouraging an environment of continuous improvement and professional development Location :
