Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our India Total Rewards team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business HRs to assess employee needs and design targeted programs that enhance engagement, performance, and organizational trust. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage the annual benefits budget for India, including monitoring and reporting for adjustments.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of yearly benefits programs such as insurance renewals, ESOPs, and employee health checks.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external benchmarks by collaborating with vendors and analytics teams.

  • Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks.

  • Analyze benefit components and prepare reports on internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Recommend data-driven decisions on direct, indirect, and non-financial compensation.

  • Lead or participate in strategic compensation and benefits projects and initiatives.

  • Advise business HRs on complex decisions related to compensation, benefits, and employee engagement.
  • Apply effective communication strategies and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct or support periodic audits of compensation and benefits processes.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits or related HR roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with current labor laws and regulations in India.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office, especially Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
