Position: Territory Manager

Department: Business Development Management (BDM)

Reporting To: Area Manager

Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Employment Type: Full-time, On-roll

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Territory Manager with strong experience in logistics sales to manage and grow our business in Bhopal. The role focuses on driving revenue, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring smooth operations while representing Safexpress in the territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive logistics sales through new customer acquisition and business expansion with existing clients.
  • Manage booking associates and oversee branch operations, including administration and credit.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through regular visits, query resolution, and business reviews.
  • Identify growth opportunities via territory mapping and lead generation.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Admin) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Track competitor activities and market conditions in the Bhopal region.

Eligibility

  • Education: Graduate/MBA/PGDM in Marketing, International Business, or Logistics.
  • Experience: 1–4 years in sales within the logistics industry (mandatory). Candidates with proven revenue-generation experience will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (local language proficiency preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of Indian geography and logistics operations.
  • Attributes: self-motivated, resilient, adaptable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.

Additional Requirements

  • Own two-wheeler/four-wheeler with valid license.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Bhopal territory.
  • Flexibility to relocate in the future, if required.
