
Sr Client Services/Customer Care Support Specialist

09S&P Global is seeking a Client Service Specialist to sit in our Bengaluru office and support clients on our Index/ETF data platform. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across business lines and global regions. Team members focus on providing a first-class service that contributes to measurable increase in customer satisfaction and enhanced business value to S&P Global. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all contact with customers leaves them with a positive view of our activities would include:
- Resolution of customer support queries (email, phone, Salesforce cases) as it pertains to technical, functionality and market/data issues within agreed SLAs
- Work with a global team of Service Analysts responsible for front-line client services on the Index/ETF data platform
- User management and customer on-boarding
- Permissioning of data and corresponding (billing) administration, ensuring compliance procedures are met
- Build & maintain strong customer relationships and provide outstanding client service, including onsite client coverage, training and support, where applicable.
- The ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines and escalate urgent matters to management.
- Capture and channel user feedback to the management team to facilitate the continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Provide weekly product, support and project-based status updates at departmental meetings
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's issue; determining the cause of the problem; explaining the best solution or escalating to the appropriate team.
- Escalate technical issues and liaise with product and development teamwork
- Be self-motivated, take initiative, and welcome the challenge of problem solving
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects of short, medium, and long-term time ranges
- Collaborate and work well within multiple organizational and functional departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a tightly knit regional and global team

- Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications
- Ability to review processes and suggest improvements
