About This Opportunity :

An Art Director on the social team should have a deep understanding of the social media space. They should be able to partner with a copywriter to conceptualize and execute creatives that are optimized for the social medium – Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok & Facebook primarily.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Possess an understanding of design for short format videos – layout, typography, colour and animation.
• Create contemporary digital led layouts with strong typography and animation/motion cues.
• Participate in brainstorm sessions and work with the team towards creative solutions
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language
• Must be familiar with American culture and vernacular
• Remain current with the latest style, graphic, industry and technology trends and apply this to projects
• Look-up and research for a stronger understanding of different media.

Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years at an Advertising agency, Social Agency or Design house (with digital)
• Experience with working on Mac OSX / iOS / Apple operating system
• Proficient at Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other design tools. Experience with Aftereffects and/or Premier Pro is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
