Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic HR team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in human capital management and a desire to learn about HR processes and best practices.
Duties
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.
- Participate in employee evaluation processes by assisting with performance management documentation and feedback collection.
- Help manage employee relations by addressing inquiries and providing support on HR policies and procedures.
- Contribute to benefits administration tasks, including data entry and communication with employees regarding benefits options.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training & development programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and performance.
- Support strategic planning initiatives by gathering data related to workforce management and organization design.
- Engage in project management activities related to HR initiatives, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of human resources principles, including talent management, change management, and conflict management.
- Familiarity with employment & labor law concepts is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous administrative experience or internships in HR is desirable but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of social media management for recruitment purposes is an advantage. This internship will provide valuable exposure to various HR functions while allowing you to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
