Role & responsibilities

  • Assist senior advocates in case preparation and court proceedings.
  • Draft legal documents including petitions, affidavits, pleadings, and agreements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analyze relevant laws and precedents.
  • Appear in lower courts and tribunals as needed under supervision.
  • Liaise with clients, gather case details, and maintain case files.
  • Keep abreast of legal developments and changes in law.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all legal matters.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience practicing as an advocate, preferably in civil or criminal law.
  • Strong understanding of Indian legal system and court procedures.
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office applications.
  • Registered with the Bar Council and valid enrolment certificate.
