About the role:

The Products team is responsible for upholding our status as an authority on all things travel and luxe- gastronomical and epicurean experiences are an integral part of that Our ideal candidate should:

Product and Innovation:

  • Track unique food events across the globe, and source off-beat gastronomical experiences

which

are authentic, immersive, local, culture-centric to
elevate the food aspect of our bespoke
itineraries

.
- Research and track upcoming global consumer food trends and patterns and implement those to put together
restaurant recommendations and/or exotic and unique epicurean experiences

.
- Be on top of all new restaurants (be it Michelin Stars or hidden gems) across destinations, and use them to
create map links and restaurant recommendations.
- Understand the client brief, dietary preferences and itineraries designed by the team and
marry all these elements when making recommendations
- Identify and source local teams across destinations, (such as
authorities on food/ celebrity chefs/ local gourmet

experts/ influencers and bloggers etc.

) to share their recommendations, partner with us and & liaise with us to

implement

these ideas at the destination.

Client Servicing:

  • Coordinate with restaurants

to ensure all the
briefs and dietary preferences are adhered to

, including writing to them/ calling them, reading their menus and knowing available options beforehand.
- Check for restaurant availability, proceed with reservations

and even go that extra mile to find a way to open doors, if required.
- Be
great at foreseeing logistical issues

and addressing them beforehand, having back-up plans and ensuring adequate alternatives are available, so that clients are never disappointed.
- Achieve
cost and logistical efficiencies

using
MS excel

and chart out plans clearly for the benefit of internal teams, external suppliers as well as clients.
- Create, maintain and update the database

of city guides and restaurant lists, which can be used as ready reference as the organization grows and scales.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Having a
    demonstrable

passion for food and travel.
- You should be relationship driven to make sure we get exclusive access for our clients where needed
- In ad

dition to identifying and filtering, you should have the ability to ensure the food experiences are practical and able to implement
- Need to be a ninja (or willing to become one)

with MS Excel and PPT.
- You must be organized, meticulous and adhere to briefs to the T.
- You should be able to work in a team and manage internal and external stakeholders.

Other good to haves:

  • A good personal network in the food space
  • Good relationships with gastronomy influencers (good to have)
  • Having travelled internationally, ideally to off-beat destinations where you enjoyed some unique food related experiences
