About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented 
Production Merchandiser
 to join our export house team. The ideal candidate will serve as the key link between the 
merchandising
, 
production
, and 
quality
 teams, ensuring smooth execution of orders from sampling to shipment. This role demands strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills to ensure that all production activities align with buyer requirements and shipment deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily with the 
    merchandising team
     and 
    production departments
     for smooth order execution.
  • Track 
    production status
     and ensure timelines are met at every stage – from fabric sourcing to final shipment.
  • Liaise with the 
    quality assurance team
     to collect inspection and inline quality reports and share updates with concerned buyers.
  • Participate in 
    production planning meetings
     to monitor progress and highlight potential bottlenecks.
  • Ensure all 
    buyer requirements, specifications, and approvals
     are communicated accurately to the production team.
  • Follow up on 
    trims, fabric, and accessories
     to avoid delays in production.
  • Maintain and update 
    production tracking sheets
    , reporting order status and shipment readiness to senior management.
  • Coordinate with the 
    logistics and dispatch
     team to ensure on-time shipment and proper documentation.
  • Support the merchandising team in handling buyer communications related to production and quality.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in 
    Textiles, Fashion, or related field
     (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience
     as a Production Merchandiser or in a similar role within an export house.
  • Strong understanding of 
    garment production processes
     and export documentation.
  • Excellent 
    communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
    .
  • Proficient in 
    MS Excel and ERP systems
     for production tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
