Role & responsibilities

Managing product development (Review of samples for the construction, fall, fit, drape and wash etc), from material sourcing to supplier negotiations and timely production as per design

  • Ensure all raw materials (fabrics, trims & accessories), all job workers (print, dyeing, embroidery etc.), and internal and external production teams are aligned for timely delivery of production
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with all partners and vendors (mills and traders for fabric & trims, labels & tags suppliers, job workers, fabricators, and garment manufacturers
  • Develop and manage production timelines and schedules to ensure timely delivery of retail products. Coordinate with design and development teams to understand product specifications, materials, and production requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma or Above in Merchandising or a related field
  • Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
  • Able to work under pressure, result-oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
  • Well-organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines
