Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled L2 Support Engineer MDM (Mobility) to join our enterprise mobility support team. The role involves providing Level 2 support for MDM/MAM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, AirWatch, MobileIron, and Jamf, ensuring seamless mobile device management, troubleshooting escalations, and supporting enterprise mobility operations.
Skill / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise mobility (Intune preferred).
- Strong knowledge of MDM/MAM concepts, device enrollment methods, and endpoint security controls.
- Proficient in troubleshooting iOS/iPadOS, Android, and Windows devices.
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Office 365, Conditional Access, and Identity Management.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for incident management.
- Proven experience supporting BYOD and corporate-owned device programs.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for mobile device enrollment, configuration, and management across leading MDM platforms (Intune, AirWatch, MobileIron, Jamf).
- Troubleshoot complex incidents escalated from L1 including device connectivity issues, profile failures, compliance errors, and app deployment problems.
- Configure, test, and deploy MDM policies, compliance rules, restrictions, and app protection policies.
- Support user access and authentication issues involving conditional access, MFA, and certificate management.
- Perform device onboarding, offboarding, wipes (selective/full), and manage lost/stolen device cases.
- Analyze and resolve issues with mobile OS (iOS, Android, Windows), MAM/MEM features, and enterprise email (ActiveSync/O365).
- Update ITSM tickets, maintain detailed documentation, and communicate root cause/resolutions to users and stakeholders.
- Escalate unresolved/critical cases to L3 engineering/vendor support with full diagnostics.
- Collaborate with security/compliance teams to ensure policies meet corporate requirements.
- Participate in patching, upgrades, and MDM platform maintenance.
- Create reports on device inventory, compliance status, and incident trends.
- Contribute to internal knowledgebase by documenting recurring issues and new features.
