Job Description

Global Policy London Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Policy Researcher to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will conduct cutting-edge research on international politics, foreign policy, and security affairs across Asia. This role requires the ability to analyze the domestic and foreign policies of key Asian nations, assess geopolitical trends, and evaluate regional security architectures. The successful candidate will produce high-quality reports, briefs, and strategic recommendations for a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth primary and secondary research on topics including:

  • Great power competition and regional dynamics in Asia

  • Foreign policy strategies, diplomatic engagements, and domestic politics of key countries
  • Defense policies, military modernization, and regional security challenges
  • The role of multilateral institutions and minilateral groupings in the region

Publications

  • Produce high-quality written outputs such as:

  • Comprehensive research reports

  • Policy briefs
  • Analytical commentaries

  • Literature reviews

  • Ensure outputs are accessible to both expert and general audiences.

Monitoring

  • Track and analyze current events, policy developments, and legislative changes across the Asia-Pacific region.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with fellow researchers, associates, and partner institutions to design and implement interdisciplinary research initiatives.
