We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• It's an Individual Contributor role and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Design, development, and maintenance of Appian-based applications and solutions.
• Actively contributing backlog refinements to understand business requirement and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with COE and Platform team test, implement new features of Appian.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to Appian best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with tech lead to align Appian solutions with overall IT strategy.
• Periodic review and restructure Appian components to improve system performance where possible.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of Appian applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Appian applications.
• Stay updated with the latest features and advancements in the Appian platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define technical solutions.
• Integrate code deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze QA, Business UAT defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Standardization & rolling out of common approach of Appian development across all the delivery streams.
• Communicate, monitor, track and report development progress to the stakeholders and ensure risks, actions and issues identified and effectively managed.
• Understand complexities and dependencies with upstream and downstream systems.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer with experience in application development using Appian low code platform capabilities.
• Extensive experience in Appian development, including Appian SAIL, process modeling, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of Appian architecture and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Appian security configurations, including user roles and access control.
• Proficiency in Appian data management, including CDT (Complex Data Type) design and data source integration.
• Experience of Appian's integration capabilities with third-party authentication systems (e.g., SAML, LDAP, OAuth).
• Proficiency in Appian Tempo, Sites, and Records for building user-friendly interfaces.
• Proficiency in Appian's document management and file handling capabilities.
• Familiarity with Appian's task management and exception handling mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with Appian plug-ins and integration with REST APIs, SOAP, and databases.
• Experience in implementing Appian's business rules and decision logic.
• Proficiency in Appian Query Rules, Expression Rules, and Decision Rules.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Must have completed Level 2 certification.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Appian applications.
• Hands-on experience with Appian cloud environments and deployment processes.
• Expertise with Appian Health Check reports and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for Appian deployments.
• Familiarity with Appian's AI and machine learning capabilities.
