We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• It's an Individual Contributor role and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Appian-based applications and solutions.
• Lead backlog refinements to understand business requirement and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with COE and Platform team test, implement new features of Appian.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to Appian best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to align Appian solutions with overall IT strategy.
• Periodic review and restructure Appian components to improve system performance where possible.
• Oversee the development of workflows, interfaces, and integrations using Appian.
• Mentor and guide team members in Appian development and related technologies.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Integrate code deployments into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze QA, Business UAT defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Standardization & rolling out of common approach of Appian development across all the delivery streams.
• Communicate, monitor, track and report development progress to the stakeholders and ensure risks, actions and issues identified and effectively managed.
• Understand complexities and dependencies with upstream and downstream systems.
• Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
• Managing stakeholder communications and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer with experience in application development using Appian low code platform capabilities.
• Must have completed Level 3 certification.
• Extensive experience in leading Appian architecture and best practices development, including Appian SAIL, process modeling, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of Appian security configurations, including user roles and access control.
• Strong knowledge of Appian data management, including CDT (Complex Data Type) design and data source integration.
• Strong understanding of Appian's integration capabilities with third-party authentication systems (e.g., SAML, LDAP, OAuth).
• Experience with Appian Tempo, Sites, and Records for building user-friendly interfaces.
• Proficiency in Appian's document management and file handling capabilities.
• Experience with Appian plug-ins and integration with external systems (e.g., REST APIs, databases).
• Experience in implementing Appian's business rules and decision logic.
• Experience of microservices architecture and its integration with Appian.
• Experience with Appian's event-driven architecture and real-time data synchronization.
• Proficiency in Appian Query Rules, Expression Rules, and Decision Rules.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Appian applications.
• Hands-on experience with Appian cloud environments and deployment processes.
• Expertise with Appian Health Check reports and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for Appian deployments.
• Familiarity with Appian's AI and machine learning capabilities.
