We are looking for an experienced Appian Developer (Level 2 Certified) to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Appian BPM application design, development, and deployment, with a solid understanding of process automation and integration best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Appian BPM applications using best practices.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Build and maintain process models, interfaces, records, and reports within Appian.
  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems using Web APIs, REST, and SOAP services.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and code optimization to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support application deployment and post-production maintenance.
  • Document design and technical specifications for all development activities.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Appian BPM development.
  • Appian Level 2 (L2) Certification is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Appian objects (Process Models, Records, Reports, SAIL, CDT, Data Store, etc.).
  • Experience integrating Appian with databases, APIs, and external systems.
  • Proficient in SQL, Java, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with the Appian Cloud environment.
  • Exposure to Appian RPA, IDP, or Connected Systems.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools for CI/CD integration.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Appian L2 certification is required (L3 preferred).

Location: Sydney, Australia (On-site as per project requirement)
