Role Summary:We are seeking an accomplished and technically strong Quality Lead to lead the quality function in a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in composite manufacturing, a strong command of aerospace certification standards, and a proven ability to lead audits, ensure compliance, and embed a quality-first culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities:Quality Strategy & LeadershipDefine and implement the organization's quality strategy in alignment with aerospace standards and business goals.

Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all functions. Composite Manufacturing Quality OversightProvide hands-on leadership in quality assurance for composite materials and processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Ensuring the Quality control of our end of end manufacturing & in-process controls as per the expected standards.

Certification & ComplianceEnsure compliance with aerospace certifications such as AS9100, NADCAP, and regulatory bodies like DGCA, FAA, and EASA.Maintain readiness for audits and certification renewals. Audit ManagementLead internal, customer, and third-party audits. Drive root cause analysis and timely closure of non-conformities with effective corrective actions.

Process Quality & ImprovementsDevelop and enhance quality systems across manufacturing, design, engineering, and supply chain. Implement quality tools and methodologies to improve process reliability and product integrity. Supplier Quality ManagementEstablish supplier quality standards, conduct audits, and manage vendor qualification and performance.

Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and grow the quality team. Build a pipeline of future quality leaders through structured development programs. Customer InterfaceAct as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, escalations, and resolution management.

Documentation & ReportingEnsure accurate documentation of quality processes and maintain traceability. Generate quality dashboards and reports for leadership and regulatory bodies. Risk ManagementIdentify quality risks across the product lifecycle and implement proactive mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in aerospace, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline. Advanced certifications in Quality Management or Aerospace Quality Systems preferred. AS9100 Lead Auditor certification highly desirable.

Experience with NADCAP audits and compliance is a strong plus. Experience:Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in quality assurance. At least 5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace or defence sector.

Hands-on experience with composite materials, manufacturing processes, and quality inspections. Proven success in managing audits and maintaining aerospace certifications. Technical Skills:Deep knowledge of aerospace QMS (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP).

Proficient in quality tools: FMEA, 8D, SPC, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis. Familiarity with ERP-based quality tracking and digital quality systems. Understanding of aerospace-grade materials and regulatory frameworks.

Soft Skills:Strong leadership and team-building capabilities. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail with a proactive, strategic mindset.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external auditors. Individual who has passion to learn things at pace.
