Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Finalization: Ensure all client financials are finalized within the established timelines.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee and ensure timely filing of all applicable tax returns well before due dates.
  • Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process; prepare and review journals with adequate backups.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies with the team.
  • Tax Reporting: Prepare and submit tax reports to relevant authorities (e.g., Quarterly/Monthly VAT, HST, GST, Sales tax returns).
  • Audit Preparation: Finalize year-end audit working papers for auditors.
  • Variance Analysis: Review and finalize variance analysis reports with detailed commentary.
  • Intercompany Processing: Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing and finalization.
  • Special Projects: Undertake and manage special projects as assigned by business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a multinational organization.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping concepts.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Accounting Standards: Knowledge of country-specific GAAP (UK, US, Canada) and IFRS is a plus.

  • Taxation Knowledge: Basic understanding of local taxation, especially sales tax (e.g., VAT for UK, GST/HST for Canada) is advantageous.
  • Software Skills: Experience with QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, or Xero is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Other Skills:

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work standard hours based on supported location.

Work Hours:

  • Shift: Day Shift (10:00 AM to 6:30 PM IST)
  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday
