Role
: Production Supervisor (Factory Supervisor / Manufacturing Unit) — On-site role in India responsible for driving shift performance, quality and safety on the shop floor.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production activities for assigned shift: meet output targets, manage manpower allocation and ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Maintain product quality and process compliance by enforcing SOPs, in-line inspections and corrective actions to reduce defects and rework.
  • Drive safety and housekeeping standards on the floor (5S): conduct daily safety checks, incident reporting and follow-up on preventive actions.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, waste elimination) to increase throughput, lower cycle time and reduce cost per unit.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to minimise downtime—plan preventive maintenance, escalate equipment issues and verify repairs.
  • Supervise, coach and develop operators: conduct shift handovers, training on tasks and quality checkpoints and performance feedback.

Additional Qualifications (brief)

  • Diploma/ITI/Engineering background or equivalent practical manufacturing experience.
  • Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or factory environment; comfortable managing 1–3 shifts and cross-functional coordination.
  • Working knowledge of shop-floor safety regulations and quality systems.
