Interior Production Manager – Job DescriptionRole Overview

The Interior Production Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end production activities related to modular furniture, carpentry, and interior components. This role ensures timely production, quality control, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination between design, execution, and factory teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Coordinate with design and project teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure production output aligns with project delivery commitments.

2. Factory & Team Management

  • Manage factory operations including carpenters, CNC operators, helpers, and supervisors.
  • Allocate manpower effectively to meet production targets.
  • Maintain discipline, productivity, and safety standards within the factory.

3. Quality Control

  • Ensure all products meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections at different production stages.
  • Minimize rework, wastage, and production errors.

4. Material & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate with procurement for raw materials, hardware, and accessories.
  • Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory.
  • Ensure proper material usage and reduce wastage.

5. Coordination with Design & Execution Teams

  • Work closely with designers to clarify drawings and technical details.
  • Coordinate with project managers and site teams for production priorities and dispatch schedules.
  • Ensure smooth handover from factory to site.

6. Cost Control & Efficiency

  • Monitor production costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Optimize machine usage, labor productivity, and material consumption.
  • Support management in cost-saving initiatives.

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain production reports, job cards, and daily progress logs.
  • Track work orders, completion status, and pending tasks.
  • Share regular production updates with management.

8. Machinery & Maintenance

  • Oversee CNC machines and other production equipment.
  • Ensure regular maintenance and minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate repairs and servicing when required.

9. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure safety guidelines are followed in the factory.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organized workflow.
  • Follow company policies and standard operating procedures.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of interior production, modular furniture, and carpentry
  • Experience handling factory operations and manpower
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Good coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and production costing
  • Experience in residential interiors preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
