Business Development Executive

About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This role requires a proactive, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients and new market opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
- Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies.
- Generate qualified leads through calls, emails, and social media platforms.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to pitch products or services to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and operations) to deliver customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close business deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain and update sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide regular sales reports.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor analysis, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also apply).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong lead generation and prospecting abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle rejection positively and maintain persistence in outreach efforts.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience in B2B or B2C sales, depending on the company's focus.
- Understanding of digital marketing and social selling techniques.
- Knowledge of the company's target industry (e.g., SaaS, EdTech, FMCG, Real Estate, etc.).
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other lead-generation tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new leads generated and qualified.
- Conversion rate from lead to deal closure.
- Revenue or sales targets achieved.
- Client retention and satisfaction rate.
- Market expansion or new partnership growth.
