Job Title: Retail Operations Excellence Manager ROYCE

As the Retail Operations Excellence Manager for ROYCE Chocolates, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs), Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs), Shop-in-Shops (SIS), dark stores, and e-commerce channels. The role demands a strong focus on optimizing store operations, inventory management, customer experience, training, and e-commerce/quick commerce execution. You will also play a pivotal role in driving corporate sales, managing audits, budgeting, and aligning with the brand's growth trajectory in India.

Requirements:

  • Implement and monitor SOPs to optimize store operations in a high-growth environment, ensuring compliance with visual merchandising, maintenance, health, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and maintain company resources including furniture, fittings, POS, hardware, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure timely replenishment, inter-store transfers, and warehouse coordination to maintain stock availability across channels.
  • Drive FIFO and expiry management across all formats, ensuring zero wastage.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee training sessions to enhance team skills, rolling out new initiatives across all store formats.
  • Identify manpower gaps and work with City Operations Managers and HR to optimize team efficiency.
  • Enhance customer experience in stores, quick commerce, and e-commerce by implementing feedback-driven improvements.
  • Manage e-commerce operations including order fulfillment, vendor/courier partnerships, and customer query resolution.
  • Drive quick commerce sales with effective ad planning in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Build and maintain corporate sales accounts, create proposals, and drive bulk order revenue.
  • Conduct audits, track expenses, reconcile sales/inventory, and prepare dashboards/KPIs for review.
  • Manage operational budgets, optimize expenses, and ensure profitability.
  • Forecast sales, set store targets, and design/store incentive structures.
  • Drive accountability through reconciliations and reporting across retail operations.

Candidate Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in retail operations.
  • Background in QSR or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage projects independently, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Location: Mumbai (extensive travel required)
