Job Description:

Job Name: SAP ABAP Lead Developer

In this role, you will:

Design, develop, implement, and support ABAP solutions in SAP ECC environment that uses a HANA DB.

Extensive knowledge implementing solutions using HANA Studios

Deliver quality ABAP development changes for our Group SAP system, adhering to IT principles for development and integration across all regions, ensuring efficiency in development for onward operation support.

Experience and knowledge in ABAP development across FICO, MM, SD, VIM and BW desirable.

Conduct peer reviews, deliver unit & QA testing, and support the business with User Acceptance Testing.

Ensure that any incidents are collaboratively reviewed and resolved successfully, according to the priority rating of the incident.

Ensure all system changes are documented correctly and stored centrally.

Ensure compliance rules are considered during development.

Support the business in delivery of projects as required, such as the rollout of SAP FICO including interfaces to local systems.

Support the business with their month end Finance procedures.

Look for opportunities where technology can support our business objectives further.

Must have:

5 years or more experience in SAP ABAP

Experience in VIM desirable.

Significant experience across application life cycle management, as well as operational support processes for integrations.

Customer focused mindset, ensuring all development is of high quality, workload monitored proactively, and incidents closed out swiftly. Keeping internal customers informed throughout.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with a focus on trusted people relationships and results.

Comfortable doing things differently at times, being able to adjust and change approach when required.Role & responsibilities
