Purpose of the Role

To perform complex ABAP programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules. Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming is a critical component of the position.

Responsibilities
At least 5 years of SAP ABAP experience

Solid knowledge in SAP ABAP programming tools including Report and Transaction creation , Enhancements, Conversion Programs , SAP script, and Smart Forms , LSMW, ALV Reports , Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary , RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI and Workflow

Working experience on FIORI and Java

Expertise with hands on development experience in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements and Forms).

Reports: Classical, Interactive and ALV (using both OO ABAP and Function Modules for ALV)

Interfaces: BAPI, BDC and Flat file Interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server). ALE/IDoc would be added advantage.

Enhancements: BADI, User Exits and Customer Exits. Knowledge of Enhancement Spot would be added advantage.

Hands on expertise in determining development effort estimates.

Excellent communication and analytical skills
