Role:

 To ensure compliance of electronics and electrical assemblies, LRUs and embedded

systems for airborne platforms with aerospace quality standards, regulatory

requirements, and customer specifications.

 The role covers quality management across design, manufacturing, testing and

certification stages

Key Responsibilities:

 Conduct inspections of PCB assemblies, wire harness, connectors and electronic

modules as per drawings, IPC/ESD standards and customer requirements.

 Review and monitor processes for assembly, integration and environmental /

EMI-EMC testing to ensure compliance.

 Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), checklists, and inspection

reports for electronics and electrical components and systems.

 Carry out First Article Inspection (FAI) and establish product conformity with

specifications and standards.

 Generate and manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR), including

thorough root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action planning.

 Audit vendor facilities for PCB fabrication, cable assemblies and electronic

components to ensure adherence to aerospace standards.

 Ensure traceability of electronics and electrical components, PCBS and assemblies

including compliance with procurement regulations (e.g. RoHS, counterfeit

avoidance).

 Collaborate with design, production, testing, and certification teams to resolve quality

issues.

 Support Reliability, Maintainability and Testability (RMT) compliance for electronics

subsystems.

 Prepare COTS Screening document and oversee Kit of Parts inspection by DGAQA

team.

 Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP software, and Quality Management

Systems (QMS).

Key Skills & Competencies:

 Good understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, and other aerospace quality standards

pertaining to electronics components.

 Knowledge of IPC Standards (IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620) and ESD

control practices.

 Experience in environmental, vibration and EMI-EMC qualification testing for airborne

electronic components.

 Proficiency in reviewing test reports, schematics and wiring diagrams.

 Skilled in problem-solving, root cause analysis and preparing detailed

documentation.

 Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications:

 B.E / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or related discipline.
