Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet, guide, and assist patients with courtesy, efficiency, and compassion from entry to exit.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and support services (Counselling, OT, Admission, Billing, Housekeeping, Pharmacy, Maintenance) to ensure smooth patient care.
  • Handle OPD/IPD process, billing procedures, and maintain proper documentation (MLC, LAMA, incident reports).
  • Provide effective communication between patients and medical staff, including call handling, relaying messages, and medication refill support.
  • Educate patients about hospital facilities, rights & responsibilities, and ensure PSI (Patient Satisfaction Index) is taken.
  • Track patient data for follow-up, reporting, and support quality improvement programs.
  • Manage floor operations, resolve patient queries promptly, and ensure disability support facilities (wheelchair, priority care).
  • Respond to medical emergencies as per hospital code protocols.
  • Respect patient confidentiality and follow SOPs & hospital policies.
  • Assist in admissions, discharges, and guide patients/attendants as per hospital procedures.
  • Team handling and backup support to other coordinators as needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: Any Graduate (Healthcare background preferred).
  • 15 years experience in patient care services, front office, or hospital operations. Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of hospital protocols, OPD/IPD processes, and consultant rosters is an added advantage.
  • Compassionate, patient-friendly, and able to handle pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
