Key Job Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Advise call centre leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Align HR and business objectives to support high performance and operational targets.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify and address skill gaps.

Employee Engagement

  • Design and drive employee engagement and wellness programs tailored for call centre environments.
  • Lead feedback initiatives, analyse survey data, and implement actionable improvements.
  • Organize recognition, team building, and inclusion activities to boost employee morale and retention.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Partner with talent acquisition teams for volume hiring and onboarding.
  • Ensure smooth induction and integration of new hires.

Disciplinary Process Expertise

  • Manage and facilitate disciplinary procedures from investigation to closure, ensuring due process.
  • Clearly identify and document employee misconduct or performance issues.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties impartially.
  • Prepare formal charge sheets or documentation and communicate findings to all stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage disciplinary hearings, ensuring principles of natural justice and employee rights are upheld.
  • Recommend and implement disciplinary actions based on evidence and company policy.
  • Clearly communicate outcomes and next steps to employees, including the right to appeal and the appeal process.
  • Monitor employee progress post-discipline and follow up on improvement plans.
  • Train managers on disciplinary best practices and ensure all employees are aware of procedures.

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution

  • Act as the main HR contact for resolving complex employee relations matters, mediating conflicts, and handling grievances.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

HR Process & Project Management

  • Lead adoption of new HR technologies, monitor HR metrics, and prepare reports for decision-making.
  • Champion continuous improvement in HR processes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Postgraduate in HR or related field (preferred).
  • 4–6 years of HR experience in high-volume/fast-paced environments, ideally call centre/BPO.
  • Deep expertise in disciplinary processes, investigations, and hearings.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in HRIS and data reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated experience designing successful employee engagement programs.
