We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Executive to oversee and ensure safety at our construction sites. The role involves identifying potential hazards, implementing safety programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of safety and proactively address risks to promote a safe work environment.

Role & responsibilities

  • Implement and manage safety programs to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification to mitigate potential risks.
  • Perform regular safety audits and inspections at construction sites.
  • Provide training sessions and demonstrations to workers on safety protocols and equipment usage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safety practices.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and develop preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with project teams and site engineers to incorporate safety measures in daily operations.
  • Prepare and manage the safety budget for construction sites, securing necessary approvals.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, government policies, and emerging safety technologies.
  • Oversee the selection, maintenance, and use of safety equipment and personal protective gear.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness among workers, promoting proactive safety practices.
