Role Overview:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor and retail networks, driving market penetration, and leading a team of sales representatives in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in cosmetics, skincare, or personal care sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets.
- Manage and expand distributor, retailer, and salon networks.
- Monitor sales performance and ensure product availability in all key outlets.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Beauty Advisors.
- Ensure effective brand visibility and execution of marketing activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with trade partners and key customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to support business growth.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to management.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales within the cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of distribution management and retail operations.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹83,000.00 per month
